Kalbarri National Park is a remarkable destination in Western Australia with a lot to offer. The park is a good 300 miles north of Perth in Western Australia. The park has many hiking trails which you can go out and explore. The city of Kalbarri is fairly small, they have a grocery store and some delicious restaurants but don’t expect to find the chain stores you are used to. The hotel I stayed in was close to the beach and came with a living area and kitchen. I planned to cook a couple of meals while I was there like I did at Shark Bay. Unfortunately, there was a shop with delicious fish n chips, so that’s where I went most of the time. I’m usually drawn to fish n chips or Greek food when I travel because it’s hard to find them in Taiwan.

Another way to make the most of your trip to Kalbarri is to join one of the many tour groups in the area that offer tours daily. On my first day in Kalbarri, I went to the visitor center and booked a spot on the abseiling in Kalbarri excursion. The package included transportation Kalbarri National Park and 5 trips down the ropes.
